Real Estate Brokerage That's Different

Someone once said, "The more you specialize, the more your service will be needed." So, naturally, the next question is, "What do I want to specialize in?"

There are some 36,000+ real estate agents in Tennessee. Not a single one specializes ONLY in a certain neighborhood. Until now. And from that concept grew Homes Harpeth, the only real estate firm selling exclusively Westhaven "existing" homes (existing homes are all homes except new construction). But we didn't stop there.

The exciting part about being the broker for a real estate firm is that you get to make all the rules. So, why not take things a bit further and get "crazy?" We're the only real estate firm that...
-
Requires a certain level of formal education and two times the amount of the required industry education.
-
Requires certain experience, such as a history of business-to-business relationships and four or more years of home selling experience.
-
Holds our agents to higher ethical standards than the National Association of Realtors.

Of course, no business model is complete without considering community involvement. For every home sale, we are thrilled to partner with the Westhaven Foundation to help maintain the Westhaven trail system and the Willaimson-Maury County Habitat for Humanity. And if you have a favorite charity, we're happy to partner with them instead.

"I always knew real estate and homes were my passion. When I was in grade school, I used to buy house plan magazines and look for the coolest home plans. I used to design home plans on my own. I loved the Southern Living magazine and would always rush to the featured home plan section. So, architecture seemed a natural path, but that was a 5-year program at the Univ. of TN, so I chose Civil/Environmental Engineering. Of course, that took me about five years. After decades of being a Professional Engineer, it was time to reconsider my passion. So, I acquired a broker's license, leaned on my business-to-business experience, and began a real estate career in middle Tennessee.

"Today, I live in Franklin, TN and am humbled to be able to own a boutique real estate firm, Homes Harpeth, that specializes in providing professional real estate service to the Westhaven community. I don't take lightly the opportunity I've been blessed with and strive to make that evident in my experience with home sellers.

"I love spending time at parks in Franklin and south Nashville (the Warner Parks), camping, anything outdoors, making healthy dishes taste great, and of course making new friends. Go Titans, Vols, Preds."
